THE SPIN: "That's why my health care plan includes improving information technology, requires coverage for preventive care and pre-existing conditions and lowers health care costs for the typical family by $2,500 a year."

THE FACTS: His plan does not lower premiums by $2,500, or any set amount. Obama hopes that by spending $50 billion over five years on electronic medical records and by improving access to proven disease management programs, among other steps, consumers will end up saving money. He uses an optimistic analysis to suggest cost reductions in national health care spending could amount to the equivalent of $2,500 for a family of four. Many economists are skeptical those savings can be achieved, but even if they are, it's not a certainty that every dollar would be passed on to consumers in the form of lower premiums.[1]

THE SPIN: "Here's what I'll do. Cut taxes for every working family making less than $200,000 a year. Give businesses a tax credit for every new employee that they hire right here in the U.S. over the next two years and eliminate tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. Help homeowners who are making a good faith effort to pay their mortgages, by freezing foreclosures for 90 days. And just like after 9-11, we'll provide low-cost loans to help small businesses pay their workers and keep their doors open. "

THE FACTS: His proposals—the tax cuts, the low-cost loans, the $15 billion a year he promises for alternative energy, and more—cost money, and the country could be facing a record $1 trillion deficit next year. Indeed, Obama recently acknowledged—although not in his commercial—that: "The next president will have to scale back his agenda and some of his proposals."[1]

THE SPIN: "I also believe every American has a right to affordable health care."

THE FACTS: That belief should not be confused with a guarantee of health coverage for all. He makes no such promise. Obama hinted as much in the ad when he said about the problem of the uninsured: "I want to start doing something about it." He would mandate coverage for children but not adults. His program is aimed at making insurance more affordable by offering the choice of government-subsidized coverage similar to that in a plan for federal employees and other steps, including requiring larger employers to share costs of insuring workers.[1]

THE SPIN: "We are currently spending $10 billion a month in Iraq, when they have a $79 billion surplus. It seems to me that if we're going to be strong at home as well as strong abroad that we've got to look at bringing that war to a close." These lines in the ad were taken from a debate with McCain.

THE FACTS: Obama was once and very often definitive about getting combat troops out in 16 months (At times during the primaries, he promised to do so within a year). More recently, without backing away explicitly from the 16-month withdrawal pledge, he has talked of the need for flexibility. In the primaries, it would have been a jarring departure for him to have said merely that "we've got to look at" ending the war. As for Iraq's surplus, it's true that Iraq could end up with a surplus that large, but that hasn't happened yet.[1]

In addition - Obama says he will cut the military and reduce spending and research for weapons systems for the future and present.

Clinton and Carter did exactly the same thing.

Why don't we take these people at their word when they say they are going to cut the military?

Before anyone claps and praises them for cutting the budget in this manner; remember if we cut the military now we will have to rebuild it in the future at a higher cost. History shows this to be fact.

If the media would have been bringing the truth to the American Public for the last two years - Obama would not be sitting where he is right now! Instead - it would be an election between John McCain and Hillary Clinton...

Aerosmith has generally left the politics to bands like U2 and the Dixie Chicks, but axeman Joe Perry says national security and economic woes have prompted him to split from the rest of the entertainment world and throw his support behind John McCain.

"We pretty much stay out of it, but seeing so many people come out for Obama, I just felt like 'What the hell, I might as well raise my hand for this side," Perry said from his Duxbury home.

The Bay State rockers have done a few fund-raisers for the Kennedy family over the years, but Perry's endorsement of McCain marks a first for the platinum-selling guitarist/songwriter. A lifelong Republican, he said he was inspired to come forward because of ringing McCain endorsements from Rudy Giuliani and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"I've been a hardcore Republican my whole life," he told the Herald. "My mother and father drilled into me from the very start that if you work hard and be positive, you'll get what you're working for. I guess I'm living proof of that."

Of criticism about McCain's age, Perry said: "My mother's in her 80s and she does aerobics. My manager's 70 and he's right there. That doesn't bother me."
And despite lopsided polls, he urged his fans to get out and vote.

"I'm an optimist. It ain't over till its over," he said. "I think that he's got a chance."
Of the rocker's endorsement, McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds said: "Joe Perry is an icon of rock-and-roll and a great American. John McCain absolutely appreciates his support."

SO LONG DEMOCRATS

Since I started writing speeches more than ten years ago, I have always believed in the Democratic Party. Not anymore. Not after the election of 2008. This transformation has been swift and complete and since I'm a woman writing in the election of 2008, "very emotional."

When I entered this campaign, it was at the 2006 Edwards staff Christmas party. My nametag read "Millie Worker." When former Senator John Edwards read it, he laughed and said, "That makes you like my parent." He went on to say, "Would you please come down to Chapel Hill so we can talk about what's coming up." I sat in John and Elizabeth's living room for two and half hours. I left North Carolina, energized about politics for the first time in months.

Not only has this party belittled working people in this campaign, it has also been part of tearing down two female candidates...

I didn't hear from anyone for three weeks.

When I finally received the official offer, it was the kind of political offer that said, "Go away." That happens. It's their campaign and I just assumed that I had been pushed out. The problem was that I had canceled a number of freelance writing jobs because I had assumed that when John said, "Start right away" I would. I needed a job right away and so I took the one in front of me with Senator Barack Obama.

When we first met, Obama and I had a nice conversation about speeches and writing, and at the end of the meeting I handed him a pocket-sized bottle of Grey Poupon mustard so he wouldn't have to ask staff if it was okay to put it on his hamburger. At the bottom of the bottle was the logo for "The South Beach Diet" and he snapped, "Oh so you read People magazine." He seemed to think that I was commenting on his bathing suit picture.

I helped with his announcement speech and others. I worked in the Senate when he was in D.C. One day after a hearing on Darfur, we were walking back to the office. I was still hobbling from a very bad ankle injury and in a very kind and gentle way he offered his arm when we approached the stairs. But later in debate preps and phone conversations and meetings, I realized that I had made a mistake. I didn't belong. No matter how hard I tried, my heart wasn't in it anymore.

See campaigns get complicated when you've written for so many Democrats. Not only had I written for Senator Edwards, but I had also been Senator Hillary Clinton's speechwriter. Senator Joe Biden is a "good looking" man and his care after my father almost died from an aneurysm is the kind of kindness you never forget. When I saw Edwards at a traffic light in D.C. about a year after our meeting, he asked for help and I did and it was an honor to help him with his concession speech. And when the primary ended, it was a privilege to help Michelle Obama with a stump speech, be considered as a speechwriter for the V.P. nominee again, and send friends in Chicago ideas until the financial crisis hit. This is what the Democratic Party has been for me; it's family. Now, it doesn't even feel like a distant cousin.

This drift started on a personal level with the fall of former Senator John Edwards. It got stronger during the Democratic National Convention when I counted the substantive mentions of poverty on one hand and a whole bunch of bad canned partisan lines against Senator John McCain. Some faith was lifted after Senator Hillary Clinton's grace during a difficult hour. But that faith was dashed when I saw that someone had raided the Caligula set and planted the old columns at Invesco Field.

The final straw came the other week when Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher (a.k.a Joe the Plumber) asked a question about higher taxes for small businesses. Instead of celebrating his aspirations, they were mocked. He wasn't "a real plumber," and "They're fighting for Joe the Hedge-Fund manager," and the patronizing, "I've got nothing but love for Joe the Plumber."

Having worked in politics, I know that absolutely none of this is on the level. This back and forth is posturing, a charade, and a political game. These lines are what I refer to as "hooker lines"—a sure thing to get applause and the press to scribble as if they're reporting meaningful news.

As the nation slouches toward disaster, the level of political discourse is unworthy of this moment in history. We have Republicans raising Ayers and Democrats fostering ageism with "erratic" and jokes about Depends. Sexism. Racism. Ageism and maybe some Socialism have all made their ugly cameos in election 2008. It's not inspiring. Perhaps this is why I found the initial mocking of Joe so offensive and I realized an old line applied: "I didn't leave the Democratic Party; the Democratic Party left me."

The party I believed in wouldn't look down on working people under any circumstance. And Joe the Plumber is right. This is the absolutely worst time to raise taxes on anyone: the rich, the middle class, the poor, small businesses and corporations.

Our economy is in the tank for many complicated reasons, especially because people don't have enough money. So let them keep it. Let businesses keep it so they can create jobs and stay here and weather this storm. And yet, the Democratic ideology remains the same. Our approach to problems—big government solutions paid for by taxing the rich and big and smaller companies—is just as tired and out of date as trickle down economics. How about a novel approach that simply finds a sane way to stop the bleeding?

That's not exactly the philosophy of a Democrat. Not only has this party belittled working people in this campaign from Joe the Plumber to the bitter comments, it has also been part of tearing down two female candidates. At first, certain Democrats and the press called Senator Clinton "dishonest." They went after her cleavage. They said her experience as First Lady consisted of having tea parties. There was no outrage over "Bros before Hoes" or "Iron My Shirt." Did Senator Clinton make mistakes? Of course. She's human.

But here we are about a week out and it's déjà vu all over again. Really, front-page news is how the Republican National Committee paid for Governor Sarah Palin's wardrobe? Where's the op-ed about how Obama tucks in his shirt when he plays basketball or how Senator Biden buttons the top button on his golf shirt?

Oh right, this story goes to the sincerity of her Hockey Mom persona. What planet am I living on? Everyone knows that when it comes to appearance, there's a double standard for women politicians. Remember the speech Speaker Pelosi gave on the floor the day of the bailout vote? Check out how many stories commented on her hair that day and how many mentioned Congressman Barney Frank's.

Here we are discussing Governor Palin's clothes—oh wait, now we're on to the make-up—not what either man is going to do to save our economy. This isn't an accident. It is part of a manufactured narrative that she is stupid.

Governor Palin and I don't agree on a lot of things, mostly social issues. But I have grown to appreciate the Governor. I was one of those initial skeptics and would laugh at the pictures. Not anymore. When someone takes on a corrupt political machine and a sitting governor, that is not done by someone with a low I.Q. or a moral core made of tissue paper. When someone fights her way to get scholarships and work her way through college even in a jagged line, that shows determination and humility you can't learn from reading Reinhold Niebuhr. When a mother brings her son with special needs onto the national stage with love, honesty, and pride, that gives hope to families like mine as my older brother lives with a mental disability. And when someone can sit on a stage during the Sarah Palin rap on Saturday Night Live, put her hands in the air and watch someone in a moose costume get shot—that's a sign of both humor and humanity.

Has she made mistakes? Of course, she's human too. But the attention paid to her mistakes has been unprecedented compared to Senator Obama's "57 states" remarks or Senator Biden using a version of the Samuel Johnson quote, "There's nothing like a hanging in the morning to focus a man's thoughts."

But thank God for election 2008. We can talk about the wardrobe and make-up even though most people don't understand the details about Senator Obama's plan with Iraq. When he says, "all combat troops," he's not talking about all troops—it leaves a residual force of as large as 55,000 indefinitely. That's not ending the war; that's half a war.

I was dead wrong about the surge and thought it would be a disaster. Senator John McCain led when many of us were ready to quit. Yet we march on as if nothing has changed, wedded to an old plan, and that too is a long way from the Democratic Party.

I can no longer justify what this party has done and can't dismiss the treatment of women and working people as just part of the new kind of politics. It's wrong and someone has to say that. And also say that the Democratic Party's talking points—that Senator John McCain is just four more years of the same and that he's President Bush—are now just hooker lines that fit a very effective and perhaps wave-winning political argument…doesn't mean they're true. After all, he is the only one who's worked in a bipartisan way on big challenges.

Before I cast my vote, I will correct my party affiliation and change it to No Party or Independent. Then, in the spirit of election 2008, I'll get a manicure, pedicure, and my hair done. Might as well look pretty when I am unemployed in a city swimming with "D's."

Whatever inspiration I had in Chapel Hill two years ago is gone. When people say how excited they are about this election, I can now say, "Maybe for you. But I lost my home."

Did any of you take the time last night to watch Obama's infomercial on MSNBC, NBC or CBS? I did not… Instead – I went to the movies and watched Nights in Rodanthe with Diane Lane and Richard Gere. Wasn't a bad movie… Nicholas Sparks love and death tragedy…

Anyway – back to Obama's Infomercial. CNN, ABC and FoxNews all refused to carry the Obama infomercial! I like the fact that CNN actually labeled the infomercial as inappropriate progaganda for a news network.

In the ad, Obama makes the case for his economic "redistribution" plan, a term he decided this week to embrace rather than shun. At the core of the commercial is the largest recession era tax increase since Herbert Hoover.

Obama plays to voters in the infomercial by calling it a tax decrease to most voters plus a tax increase to the "fatcats" on top. The net result is one of the largest tax increases on the American economy in history, and the first tax increase attempted during a recession in 76 years.

For counter reply – John McCain came out with an ad that pokes fun at Obama. It is called a "TV SPECIAL" and actually paints Obama with the empty suit that he is.

McCain's reply:

"Behind the fancy speeches, grand promises and TV special, lies the truth: With crises at home and abroad, Barack Obama lacks the experience America needs. And it shows."

In my opinion – Obama's Infomercial was just an attempt to embrace Americans into his social empire. Herbert Hoover attempted what Obama is planning to do now... It failed then... Just like it will now!

In 1932, Herbert Hoover pushed through a tax increase in the heart of the depression on "rich" taxpayers, in the "Economic Recovery Act" of that year. At that time the median household income was $1,000 annually. Like Obama's economics plan, Hoover's tax increase applied to only the top brackets making more than $4,000 per year, or roughly 4x the median income. This would be equivalent today to an Obama's tax increase affecting only households making $200,000 and above, or 4x the national median.

What happened then is now something that all economists agree upon. The increase was a disaster that served to deepen the depression into a new phase of despair. The few companies that were making money laid off even more workers. Unemployment rose. Incomes fell. The economic disaster was deepened and prolonged.

Somebody should have told Obama before he aired an ill-fated infomercial / commercial that proposes throwing oil on fire. You do not raise aggregate taxes during a recession, and then call it a tax decrease for 95% of Americans. Obama's proposed tax decrease to lower income Americans does nobody any good when they are laid off from work.

There is one other thing I'd like to bring up here. Prior to the Infomercial – Obama had already spent $600,000,000 dollars on this campaign. $600,000,000 is a record breaking amount for a general election. Now – Obama wants us to believe this amount has come from "little people" sending in $5, $10, and $25 dollar amounts. I'm sure there is some of this trickling in… But, honestly – we all know better!

There are some mighty big "FATCATS" supporting Obama… These infomercials are anything but cheap. Do we hear more George Soros and Nadhmi Auchi in these numbers than the "little Americans"? I think so!

I was talking on the phone with a friend from San Diego. We got to talking about homeless people standing on the corners of four way stops with signs. I had mentioned – that's one thing I do not see a lot here in the Virginia area… Not like we saw it on every corner in the San Diego area. I mentioned to her my favorite sign and the one I actually did stop and give a couple of bucks to was like the one below:



By all means – that morning I rolled my window down and gave him a couple of bucks and told him it was just because of his honesty!

Well – my friend then gave me the latest onslaught of homeless signs in the San Diego area… They are now political!

Last night we went out to eat at one of my favorite restaurants. Our server was wearing an "Obama, '08" T-shirt… Yep – you know me and my ire over that… Thus – when the check came… We put out our card to pay the bill and the waiter asked if we wanted to include 15% gratuity? I told him no – I'll take care of that here at the table.

He brought the receipt back for us to sign. While I was signing it – I told him he was not going to get a tip this evening. Because I felt it necessary that I take his tip and give it to someone else who I deemed more in need. Who knows… I may send it to the guy in San Diego who only wants a six pack of beer.

The waiter… Oh yes – he stormed away angry! I wonder if I need to worry about dining in that restaurant in the future. They do have some of the best cheese enchiladas!

You know the moral of this little story? If I actually gave $10 bucks to a person on the street - he would be grateful for the money. Yet – this waiter that I did not give the tip to became totally pissed to high heaven at me. I denied him of what he believed SHOULD BE HIS… And, right now – this guy is getting ALL HIS MONEY for each hour he works… He just wanted something for free… Yet – he's pissed that I took his bonus (TIP) and decided to give it to someone who I deemed needs it more! All in all – I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in real practice.

Invasion of privacy was not a legal concept until the latter part of the 20th Century. Yet – time and time again – people tend to believe they have a right to snoop in other people's business. In the latter portion of the 20th Century – a famous judge's wife asked her husband if there was anything she could legally do to stop a journalist from snooping into their personal business while at a private party. After his wife complaining – he told her there were no laws against the snooping. However – the judge later wrote an article in conjunction with a colleague regarding the "right to privacy" and from this came a series of rules we follow today.

In simple terms – the right to privacy means a person's right to be left alone. There are now specific tort laws on the books that helps protect a person's private affairs which no one in public or government has the right to snoop in an unwarranted method. However, an individual's right to privacy is not absolute.

A perfect example in the news lately is "Joe the Plumber". "Joe the Plumber" simply asked a presidential candidate a simple question he felt was important - not only for him – but for the American public in general. For asking this question and placing this Presidential Candidate campaign in a bad light, "Joe the Plumber's" background was thoroughly searched and information about him was given out freely to discredit him. We have to ask – was his right to privacy violated. According to the law, "Joe the Plumber's" right to privacy is limited because of his participation in a newsworthy event – by simply asking a highly relevant question of a candidate.

Again - let me reinterate what happened! All "Joe the Plumber" did was ask a RELEVANT QUESTION of Barack Obama...


Just think - HE ONLY ASKED A QUESTIONED!




The question I have to ask now, what if Obama wins the White House on November 4th, 2008? If the common citizen stops to ask a question that places Obama in a bad light – what is going to happen then? Is each and every citizen going to be subjected to this new type of dictatorship law and invasion into the person's background and privacy?

WILL EACH OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE BACK GROUND CHECKS BECAUSE THEY SAY THEY ARE "JOE THE PLUMBER"?

With "Joe the Plumber" being subjected to an invasion of privacy for simply asking a highly relevant question… just think of all the possibilities that could come from an actual dictatorship under an Obama government; 1) freedom of speech; 2) ethics and values being questioned; 3) religious beliefs being questioned; 4) etc… etc… etc..

Anything and everything we take for granted today – can be questioned if we allow an Obama government to win the White House!

I want to ask each and every one of you planning on voting for Obama – to stop and think… Is this the direction and the change you want to take our country?




When you go to vote – put your COUNTRY FIRST! Vote for the rights of every American – not just a few elites.

"I obviously can't speak for all the troops, but I can definitely speak for one - I am a Naval officer currently deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom…The Taliban and al Qaeda don't scare me nearly as bad as this election does…We'll take care of things over here, but we're counting on you and others like you to fight the fight back home, even after the election, whichever way it goes. Hang in there. We appreciate everything you do."

Commentary - What We Can Expect the Last Two Weeks Before November 4th!

Two weeks from today is a very important election – the Presidency of the United States is up for grabs. With two main choices; 1) Barack Obama – Pro-socialist redistribution of wealth definer who deems himself as the "hero of change" yet has demonstrated time and time again he is the typical corrupt politician… So far that he sold the Brooklyn Bridge to pay for his house in Chicago with Ted Kennedy and John Kerry buying it; and 2) John McCain – a center conservative who has been a Senator for years upon years who continually crosses over and makes people wonder if he's a Republican or Democrat, a war hero, a husband to a heiress, a father and the list goes on and on from here…

The question we are all asking now – how will the American people actually vote and who will be elected to the highest office of our nation two weeks from last night? The political polls from Rasmussen to Zogby – they are all over the place… using different poll points and demographics. No one knows or has a clear picture of who is in the lead. In addition to the unclear polls – the MSM is in the tank for Obama and this leads the people to having an unclear point of view of what is really going on in this election. If you remember correctly – at this point of the game four years ago in the 2004 election, John Kerry was up by 11 percentage point and expected to be elected president. The Democrat Party was stunned into silence once again when George W. won the election.

One thing for sure – come the morning of November 5th, 2008… We should by all accounts know who the next President will be… There will either be dancing in hood… or as many "left wing liberals" are suggesting… there will be rioting in American streets…

There are a couple of things that I feel are going to make a big difference in this race… And, they are as follows:

The Silent Majority! This is an unusual Presidential election year. The Democrats sweetheart – Hillary Clinton was deemed as the front runner at the beginning of the primary year. Only things didn't work out the way she had planned. With this – I feel comes victory because of the many Clinton's for McCain and Democrats for McCain in general are going to cast a vote for COUNTRY FIRST and not follow political party lines. Along with those groups – groups such as the Jewish Coalition – will be casting their votes for McCain, also. Then – comes along a typically silent group… What I deem as the "working man group" who gets up each and every morning… Heads off to a job he or she doesn't necessarily like but does it to feed, cloth and take care of their family… This silent majority of working Americans are going to speak up and say "NO REDISTRIBUTION WITH MY MONEY!" Period… They are going to send a clear message that they are in tune with the "Joe the Plumber's" of America!!

Independent Voters! John McCain has an advantage in this area. He's simply been willing to cross party lines to get things done. This is one area – where the Obama campaign has made a bad mistake. They have tried their best linking McCain to Bush 2! Like McCain told Obama – if he had wanted to run against Bush so bad – he should have done so four years ago! No matter what Obama states – it's been McCain who has consistently crossed those party lines and not Obama! Obama's senate voting has him as the number 1 most liberal Senator for year 2007.

Many independent voters are not political junkies… Thus – the closer we get to November 4th… They are starting to do their homework and research. They are not depending on just the nightly news for their information, instead they are surfing the web. In their research they are uncovering his questionable associates, he's not a successful business guy, not a long time Senator, not a Governor, really no one but an accomplished author (and we really question that, too!). Thus – with Obama's questionable background and associates, his liberal stances and his promises of "change" (empty rhetoric) – this does not make a very good electable cocktail for the Independent Voter. Instead – many of the independent voters will mark the ballot for John McCain.

Will Voters Actually Turn Out to Vote! The last day to register to vote for the Presidential election in Texas was October 6th, 2008. I have been reading and watching the different news articles relating to last minute registration from that state. The last two weeks of voter registration indicated a large turn out of first time voters and voters who had allowed their registrations to lapse. The state of Texas alone registered a record number 13.5 million Texans for the general election!

We know Acorn has been busy in Texas with fraudulent activity – especially in the Houston area. As all that information hit the local news stations – it's my thinking this encouraged many typical Republican voters to make certain their voices would be heard or to register for the first time! My prediction – Texas will certainly be a red state again this year! And, I believe this same thing is going on in states all across the nation!

Sarah Palin Oh my yes! McCain proved his "Maverick" image with his selection of Sarah Palin. In my books this was a genius move on his part. Even though the media wants everyone to believe the Republicans are upset and mad… NO WAY! Sarah Palin is as conservative as the day is long. In addition - Sarah has brought home McCain's greatest struggle of convincing those true to form Conservative Republicans they are the team for the next four years. If you sit back and listen to or watch any campaign rally Sarah Palin is involved with you will not hear free rock concerts, bands, etc (such as those prior to Obama rallies). All that noise and clapping is for Sarah Palin and the United States of America! This will encourage yet more votes for the McCain/Palin ticket!

My Ending Thoughts Two weeks is a LONG TIME in the field of politics and we still have room for surprises and lots of new information to unfold. Do I think new information will surface in the next two weeks? It won't surprise me one bit!

Two weeks from now – we will have a new President Elect and we will know the truth about the polls and the media bias of the Main Stream Media! Most importantly – we will know the truth about the desires of the American people!

Police Drag Protesters Away from Palin Motorcade

(CNN) -- Protesters tried to block the motorcade of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in Grand Junction, Colorado, on Monday, but police dragged them out of the way.
The incident -- just feet from the car carrying Palin -- was captured on video by CNN affiliate KKCO-TV.

Eight to 10 protesters broke away from a larger group of demonstrators and darted into the street in front of Palin's car just after the first police motorcycles in her motorcade had passed, said Acting Chief Troy Smith of the Grand Junction Police Department.

Wearing bandanas and with their faces covered, the protesters blocked the path and held up a large banner. Officers stopped their motorcycles, grabbed the protesters and dragged several out of the path of the oncoming motorcade.

At least two demonstrators were tackled and forced to the ground before being pulled away. One officer fell backwards into the path of an approaching vehicle but he was able to get out of the way in time.

My thinking right now – next time let the motorcade run their butts over! I'm getting to the point where I'm sick and tired of leftard loons, anarchists, anti-capitalists… and certainly sick and tired of deranged Obama supporters calling race on each and every issue… YET – are dumb enough to step in front of a motorcade which involves the Secret Service and the potential Vice President of the United States! These protestors -not only put their own lives in jeapardy... They also put the lives of the police officers who had to venture out in front of the motorcade to protect them... They also put the lives of the people at risk who were riding in the motorcade!

Obama's Lead Slips to 3 Points

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama's lead over Republican John McCain in the presidential race has dropped to 3 points, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Sunday.

Obama leads McCain by 48 to 45 percent among likely U.S. voters, down 1 percentage point from Saturday. The four-day tracking poll, which has a margin of error of 2.9 points.

Pollster John Zogby said the numbers were good news for McCain, and probably reflected a bump following his appearance in the third and final presidential debate on Wednesday.

"For the first time in the polling McCain is up above 45 percent. There is no question something has happened," Zogby said.

He said the Arizona senator appeared to have solidified his support with the Republican base -- where 9 out of 10 voters now back him -- and was also gaining ground among the independents who may play a decisive role in the November 4 election.

Obama's lead among independent voters dropped to 8 points on Sunday from 16 points a day earlier.

'RED FLAGS'

"If that trend continues, it is something that has got to raise red flags for Obama," Zogby said. "It suggests to me that his outward look of confidence may be as much strategy as it is real."

Rather makes a person wonder if the general public is figuring out the leftist media slant in hiding the truth from our U.S. citizens and they are coming to understand the brunt of the mortgage crisis can be directly blamed on Obama, Acorn, Dodd, Pelosi, Barney Franks and Frank Raines – does it not?

Frank Raines – one of Obama's financial advisors – totally pillaged Fannie Mae for $90,000,000 in bonuses and then left it to collapse… And, from there – the list goes on and on!

The blame it on Bush – for anything and everything – is coming to a close. As McCain stated – if Obama wanted to run against Bush, he should have ran 4 years ago! Bush is an easy scapegoat when a campaign is trying to promote the biggest fraud this nation has ever seen. But, you know what? I keep saying – the American people are smarter than most. Only so many can fall for the Promise you anything mentality only to gain votes!

I still believe in my heart this election is far from over… We are being mislead by the polls because the main stream media wants us to believe that Obama is going to win – thus discourage us and keep the Conservative base of this nation from voting! It is NOT going to work! I still believe come November 5th – John McCain will have been elected as our next President of the United States!

 

 

Obama and McCain Tax Proposal Differences

Which ever candidate – McCain or Obama – is elected on November 4th, the new sitting President of the United States will have to make highly important decisions related to our foundering ecomony. Decisions regarding how to recover our U.S. economy will be one of the top priorities he will be faced with. Our nation is in a fanancial crisis and this crisis is already predicted to become worse than we have ever seen in the last 50 year rate with a less than 3.3 percent growth rate [1]. In addition to this – the Bush tax cuts will expire in 2011, and the new President will have to decide if these tax cuts need to just expire, extend or make permanent on the tax cut provisions.

The Bush tax cuts is one of the issues at the center of the debate. McCain has opted to make the Bush tax cuts permanent, with the exception of the estate tax. McCain believes the Bush tax actually helped the economy recover after the 2001 slow growth period and believes they will continue to help the nation recover at this time [2].

On the other hand, Obama will extend the Bush tax cuts for those who earn less than $250,000 a year. Obama does not feel those who make over $250,000 deserve the tax cut due to these people being "rich". Obama will also enact new tax increases on these same people as well as specific tax credits which will be enacted for lower-income individuals. He believes that the present tax system is not progressive enough and that a redistribution of wealth should be implemented to give low-income individuals a better chance at success [3]. This is the point that "Joe the Plumber" brought forth and is a very valid question. Obama's reply was simply that as a nation - we need to redistribute the wealth.

I do not want to write or break down each proposal here because of time and space... The above article is a non-partisian look into both McCain's and Obama's economic plans. And, the results are comparable to what both CNN and the Washington Post Analysis have come up with [4].

Below is a breakdown of how both the new tax plans will unfold. This is using the specific tax plans each candidate has planned for the start of 2009. Also - keep in mind - the taxes raised via Obama plans of taxing the rich - will not cover all his suggested programs he has promised to implement in the future.


The above breakdown does not include the Bush Tax Credit which will still be in effect until 2011 [4].

A very good question to ask here - why is Obama penalizing the rich who provide jobs for the poor? I totally can understand some people getting tax breaks - the sick, the mentally challenged, the infirm... However - I do not buy into those that can work... gaining a monetary edge and see them spend it foolishly while I have to work to do the same!

Both plans would actually leave the United States tax code more complicated than it is today. However – between the two proposals McCain's plan has specific advantages instilled that focuses on keeping tax rates low. Obama's plan will raise income tax rates, raises payroll taxes on a delayed basis, and will actually increase the use of our present day tax system where it will redistribute income to those who pay little to no taxes. In my opinion – this is highly inappropriate direction to take our nation… Specifically the direction of United Socialism comes to mind.

Joe the Plumber's Views Regarding the Socialist Agenda!

We have to wonder just how many "Joe the Plumbers" are out and about in the United States… There is a whole bunch of them in my opinion… And, in my opinion… "Joe the Plumbers" are going to make the difference in this election… Simply because – these people work for their profits… And, by no means are they going to be willing to allow Obama to take from the "haves" to give to the "have nots" simply because the "have nots" are unwilling to work!


This silent majority is going to make their choice known loud and clear on November 4th! The silent majority is against socialist policies… They work hard for the money they earn… They have the right to spend it which ever way they deem fit!


I swear folks we are going to be hearing Michelle and Barack Obama crying "Joe the Plumber STOLE THIS ELECTION FROM US!" I can hear the Reverend Moss's, Jeremiah Wright's and Father Pfledger's sermons now! Can't you?

 

 

Final Debate Winner? Joe the Plumber and the American People!

Just think – the mild attack McCain brought forth flustered Obama repeatedly. I do believe the mild affront on Obama is enough to do the job. We all knew "going into the debate" – no matter what – the win by the MSM would go to Obama. That's cool! Let Obama and his following tribe have the debate wins along with the so called unbiased poll wins. The only win that matters is November 4th, 2008! And, there – I honestly see a totally different win. A John McCain/Sarah Palin victory!

So – tonight's debate… Yes – McCain certainly came out swinging. In my books there were even a few home runs. Not a grand slam, but enough runs that placed the very necessary "I'm not sure" in those undecided minds. Just enough – that when the voter gets in the voter's booth – uncertainty will pay off and a vote will be cast for longevity and experience = McCain.

The real winner in last night's debate was the average American… Yes – exactly like "Joe the Plumber"! It is all these people that Obama has been aiming his guns at... He wants those votes! He needs those votes! Without those votes... Obama does not win!

I was thrilled to see McCain repeatedly go after Obama using "Joe the Plumber". McCain hit Obama on his socialist stances… Just enough – to have it seeded in people's minds… festering… Many will scream that calling Obama a "socialist" is a slur or even racist. It's neither folks! But, what I got out of last nights debate – and I feel many other Americans just like "Joe the Plumber" is that Obama REFUSES TO ADMIT IT! Obama clearly supports wealth redistribution and I honestly believe he'll regret the day he ever talked to "JOE THE PLUMBER!"



Obama is clue less about what small business is all about. According to the Small Business Administration – nearly 95% of small businesses who have been in business for more than couple of years make over $250,000 a year! NINETY FIVE PERCENT! Just doing the math: with 5-10 employees, and they make between 25k and 50k a year, the business owner will need to make AT LEAST 250k JUST TO MEET PAYROLL!!

Do not worry about all the other expenses such as the lease on your business space, the supplies needed to run the business, electric/water/sewage service, etc... Check the SBA statistics on what they consider the definition of a small business, and you will find that Obama is talking about a heavy tax increase on these businesses. THIS MEANS: 1) less money for expansion; and 2) prices they have to pass on to consumers just to meet their obligations. In effect, this can mean less jobs or even layoffs to protect the business under an Obama administration.

YOU EITHER SUPPORT SOCIALISM OR YOU DO NOT! There is NO IN BETWEEN HERE! Do you want to take people's money and spread it around? Do you like Cuba's health care system? If you do – by all means go vote for Obama! Because, when it comes down to the truth – there are two types of people voting this year; 1) Those that do not have… and will accept it no matter who the wealth is being stolen from; and 2) Those being robbed to give to the other people! It is simple as that.

Folks… Obama said it best…

Joe the Plumber to Obama: "Your new tax plan is going to tax me more. Isn't it?"

Obama: "It's not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody that is behind you, that they have a chance for success too. I think that when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

One other highlight from last night's debate… And, it happened on the very first question… The first chance Obama had to open his mouth he attempted to tie McCain to Bush… McCain's response, "Senator Obama, I am not President Bush. If you wanted to run against President Bush, you should have run four years ago." We did not have to sit and hear Obama repeatedly last night attempting to make the two as one! Clearly – McCain's replies were spot on and flustered Obama repeatedly.

My prediction is that McCain did not win the debate just because the media and Obama minions would not allow it. As I said – this is fine… What matters is that McCain did what he had to do to plant doubt in American's minds regarding Obama… The "JOE THE PLUMBERS" of this great nation… It's those folks who are the ones that are going to make the difference… and, believe me – they want the opportunity to spend their own money as they deem fit… Not have Obama and his minions do it for them!

If you love socialism: You will be drooling over what Obama says… No matter what he says…

Otherwise... If you LOVE AMERICA... Americans WON LAST NIGHT! Wink Wink!

 

 

How the Obama Agenda Fits in with Partial Birth Abortion

Chloe was 30 weeks pregnant. Only six weeks to go and she would deliver a healthy baby. However – Chuck recently left her and she did not want the child any longer. Chloe decided an abortion was the route to go!

Chloe has made a choice – because after all – it is HER BODY! Right?

Thus - Chloe opted on a partial birth abortion for her child...

This is what that child experienced!





Zoe was 30 weeks pregnant. Only six weeks to go and she would deliver a healthy baby. However – Dick recently left her and she was uncertain she could raise the child alone. All of a sudden – Zoe's water broke and the question of what to do was no longer there. Zoe was taken to the hospital and a baby boy was born. Zoe named her son Micah. Micah spent a week in the hospital before being allowed to go home.

When Micah was 5 weeks old he just could not stop crying no matter what Zoe did.

Under sheer frustration Zoe grabbed Micah, held him up and shook him.

Micah experienced "shaken baby syndrome" and was pronounced dead at the nearby hospital.



Zoe was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.



Both issues are untastefully graphic. Both issues happen each and every day. One type of murder is legal... One type of murder is illegal. The problem is - neither are different in regards to the outcome of the potential and viable baby.

Neither child had to die...

Presidential hopeful Barack Obama wants to allow Partial Birth Abortion if and when he gains the office of the Presidency of the United States... In an article discussing the irony of Obama's endorsement by the NEA (National Education Association), the following
information was reported:

Senator Obama has said that, if elected president, the first thing he would do is sign the so-called "Freedom of Choice Act" – a bill that would make partial-birth abortion legal again, require taxpayer funding of abortion and nullify virtually all federal and state limitations, such as parental notification laws.

"Barack Obama's extremist pro-abortion agenda is a poison pill for our nation's classrooms," Cross added. "It borders on the incomprehensible that our nation's educators would get behind a candidate whose agenda will result in more and more missing children."

Jesse Jackson announced in France last week that American Zionists will lose their power under Obama.

He promised "fundamental changes" in US foreign policy - saying America must "heal wounds" it has caused to other nations, revive its alliances and apologize for the "arrogance of the Bush administration."

The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end.

Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.

Obama's Redistribution of Wealth

Obama got caught on video saying that he wants to "spread the wealth around."





So a burdened plumber asks Obama what he's going to do to help out. Obama basically responds by saying he's going to give people like him other people's money. I honestly believe the plumber looked totally stunned in regards to Obama's answer. Obama's answer IS down right wrong… It is actually telling Americans "DO NOT GO OUT AND PROSPER! I – THE GREAT MESSIAH, WILL GIVE YOU ALL YOU NEED TO BE HAPPY, HEALTHY AND FREE!" John McCain needs to use this news spot in all his commercials from here on out!

Don't you wish the plumber would have shot back a reply such as, "Or – just maybe – they can get off their fat, welfare leaching butts and work for me and earn it?!?" Well… maybe it's better left unsaid, right? Otherwise – the secret service would have had to arrest the plumber for being a racist!

Wealth redistribution. Buying votes. That's the name of the game.

And, that's actually what he's proposing with his "tax cuts for 95% of Americans" nonsense. 47% of Americans have no federal income tax burden, so Obama wants to take money from the people who do pay taxes and put it into a check for people who don't.

If that's not wealth redistribution, I don't know what is.

Fifth Grade Kids Smarter than Most Adults Regarding the Election!

Erica Hill of the Early Show of CBS News took the time out to sit down and visit with some 5th grade students who were actually well versed on the economy, race issues and the war. These kids actually read the newspapers and discussed politics with their parents. Watch the video and you will certainly see these kids do have an opinion on the campaigns between Obama and McCain.

One kid – mentioned the economy and stated we are going into the second great depression.

Another kid stated he understood that when the stock market goes down, food prices at the store goes up. Later this young man spoke up again about the negativity of the campaign was getting with the television commercials and mentioned how immature it was.

Again - another kid mentioned that this election is all about race. I'm wondering if people who watch this video and especially the CBS corporate office if the message they received was, "Are you a racist if you do not vote for the Obama?"

Most importantly – these kids understand who the vote is actually about = AMERICA! I do think – a lot of grown ups could benefit if they sat down and listened to their kids.

 

 

Obama's $800,000 Worth of Voter Benefits

Barack Obama's presidential campaign paid out more than $800,000 to an offshoot of Acorn (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) for a "get-out-the-vote project, not just polling, advance work and staging major events [1].

Spending the money cool… totally understandable. You can say all campaigns spend money for these objectives. But, the problem is that Acorn and its subsidiary Project Vote Smart are involved with the Obama campaign on so many levels. In addition to having multiple allegations over the years regarding "voter fraud" in multiple states, we now have Obama's "good old pal" Tony Rezko's name surfacing in the controversy now.



You do remember who Rezko is right? Rezko is the player Obama chose to seek a way to buy a house shortly after being elected to the United States Senate. The land included a parcel lot adjacent to the house Obama wanted to buy but could not afford because Obama's stated finances were already stretched to buy the house. Tony Rezko's wife – then steps in the picture - purchases the adjacent empty lot, meeting the conditions of the seller who wanted to sell both house and lot at the same time then in turn sells the lot to Obama at a fraction of the cost [2]. All nice and neat – right?

Earlier this past year on June 4, 2008 – Tony Rezko was found guilty in 16 of the 24 charges he faced in a political corruption trial involving the Gov. Blagojevich administration of Illinois [3]. I guess we just all find it an interesting coincidence presidential hopeful Barack Obama sought Rezko for housing financial reasons, right?

Now – the question we are asking – what is Rezko whispering to the federal prosecutors about past political corruption in Illinois? And, from what the word being passed around is – why are the names of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi being talked about by Rezko in regards to Acorn.

We have many different states questioning Acorn's authenticity of voter registration:

Houston, TX – It doth appear Houston's dead community is alive and active in this presidential election year.

Indianapolis, Indiana has a 105% population that has been registered.

Las Vegas, Nevada – has been raided by Nevada authorities this past week in connection with reportedly faulty registration cards with names of the Dallas Cowboy having been registered. Anyone trying to vote using the voter registration card with the name "Tony Romo" nor "T. O. Owens" will be allowed to vote in Nevada! [4]

Other states that are experiencing voter fraud registrations via Acorn's help include Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina, Missouri and New Mexico.



In addition to Acorn and fraudulent voter registration practices in the news recently – we also have allegations of Acorn and unlawful practices regarding questionable housing loans involved with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Which ever way the wind blows and Rezko talks – voter fraud or questionable housing implications will certainly be involved and attached to Obama's name. That's the problem. Questionable associations for Obama are a dime a dozen. There is no end to them. He's had a twenty plus year relationship with ACORN, and now ACORN is popping up every single day with new allegations against them of voter fraud and questionable housing implications.

When someone is close to all sorts of radicals, criminals, and corruption, that person's Presidency will be radical, criminal and corrupt. THIS – is why it matters. Guess you just have to ask, was $800,000 worth the trouble?

Hannity was right about the Rev. Wright / Trinity United Church of Christ and Obama connection. No other news station would air the information until they were forced to do so via the American people questioning the facts. This – is undisputable.

This past week Hannity brought out information between Obama and the William Ayers terrorist connection. Again – this information is undisputable.

Now – as recently as October 8, 2008 on the Sean Hannity's America talk radio show Hannity interviewed Jerome Corsi. Mr. Corsi had just returned from an exploration into the facts between Barack Obama and Raila Odinga (cousin of Obama) dealings and back ground. Please watch the video which depicts Odinga's lost and the violence that ensued in Kenya after Odinga's presidential bid loss.

While in Kenya – Corsi was detained and then more or less deported with his passport and other legal documents having been confiscated. During the radio talk show, Corsi stated he has returned with proof via emails having been sent from Obama's senate office to his cousin Odinga suggesting how to deal with a defeat for Odinga which includes violence…

I absolutely refuse to buy into the charges against those against Obama that we are being racist when we ask or talk about known criminal, terrorist, and hateful friends of Obama!! As Americans voting for the person to lead our nation - WE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW THE TRUTH!

(10-08) 18:42 PDT -- As CNN's pundits wondered whether instant post-debate polls favoring Sen. Barack Obama meant he would win on election day, analyst David Gergen - who has been an adviser to Republican and Democratic presidents - stopped them.

"I think it's too early to declare victory, because Barack Obama is black," Gergen said Tuesday night. "And until we play out the issue of race in this country, I don't think we'll know and maybe (not until) late in the campaign."

While Obama's campaign has fended off racially rooted attacks since its inception, analysts say the ones surfacing in the past few days have been more overt, arriving as many undecided voters are making their final decision. They are part of a recent stream of attacks on his background, including his religion and his connections to a former '60s radical.

"It is the Willie Hortonization of Obama," said University of San Francisco associate professor of political science James Taylor. Horton, an African American man, was a Massachusetts felon who committed a rape and armed robbery while on a weekend furlough. Republican strategist Lee Atwater used a TV attack ad featuring Horton to create a negative impression of the 1988 Democratic nominee, former Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis, in the campaign's final months.

... Coded' language

Instead of using a grainy photo of a grizzled convict as Atwater did, the current attacks, analysts say, are embedded in "coded" language.

... Shouts of 'terrorist'

Regardless, some attending McCain-Palin rallies are responding to this kind of incitement. The Secret Service is investigating press reports that someone might have said "kill him" after Palin tried to connect Obama to former Weather Underground leader Bill Ayers. Some attending McCain's rally Wednesday in Pennsylvania interrupted him with shouts of "socialist," "terrorist" and "liar."

… But Stanford University political science Professor Paul Sniderman, who recently completed a survey on racial attitudes of voters, doesn't think the attacks will work. He also said widely circulated media reports that said "Obama's support would be as much as 6 percentage points higher if there were no white racial prejudice" were wrong.

I was raised to believe that a person's friends mattered. If you ran with the wrong friends – no matter the color of the skin – you took upon yourself your friends attributes. Simply put – if one of your friends was a bad egg… Then, you must be a bad egg, too!

As I grew up – I really did not think this could be possible. Yet – the older I became the more I understood. Character does matter. Many of Obama's associations are strongly partial to their own organizations, religion, race, and politics (aka Wright and Farrakhan) and are intolerant of those who are different (aka Wright and Farrkhan). Associations with a felon slumlord and political corruption person (Rezko), an unrepentant terrorist who hates the U. S. military, and a Professor of Middle Eastern Studies who is pro-PLO and spouts anti-Israeli rhetoric (Ayers and Khalidi). Oh yes, Senator B O keeps fine company.

Character does matter! Character matters because, though the president leads both a public and a private life, in the end, he is just one person who actually leads both. If a person acts unethical - the selling of influence may just be the logical culmination of aspects of his character displayed in both his handling of governmental affairs and that of his personal life.

I'm not saying that we should specifically pick a candidate by just judging the candidates ideals of integrity and character and hold them to a higher code of conduct than we do in our daily lives; I feel we must all strive for these ideals - at all times. However, with the office of the President of the United States - a terrific responsibility is evident here - and the voters have a right to ask themselves if the candidate embodies those ideals to a special or little higher degree than most.

Obama's associations would come into play as he chooses his cabinet members, if elected. They would come into play as he appoints judges on all levels. Anyone for reparations? His associations would determine his ambassador-appointments and his alliances, such as with Kenya, now a U.S. ally in that strategic part of the world, but under Obama - what... maybe statehood? or guns for Odinga?


Oh yes - Obama's past associations will factor into an Obama Presidency!

I refuse to allow racism to be brought into the argument. The only "race card" that has been played is by Obama and his campaign. Let's remember a couple of things. It was Obama who has tried to "hide" his race… Obama is 50% Caucasian, 43.75% Arab and only 6.25% African Black. So – if the question is race that is being brought up then tell the American people why he did not write about his Arabian heritage and make himself a new identity in his biography.

Otherwise – let's leave race out of the topics and allow the American voter to know the truth of Obama's assocations.

 

 

Second Presidential Debate – The Loser was the American Voters!

So – did any of you want to go to sleep last night during the debate? I mean – just think - instead of listening to your favorite "sleep" music on the CD player or soothing sound machine, all you had to do was turn on the debate and "lights out"! Overall – McCain won the debate on points delivered and I think we are going to see a shift in the "battleground states"; that's if those American citizens remained awake and watched the debate! My guess is that most people stopped watching 30 minutes into the debate. I know I got up and washed the dishes as I listened to the pleasantries being exchanged.

I was prepared for the mudslinging to start last night. Unfortunately – I was let down! I wanted more pointing fingers and naming names from John last night! Unfortunately the opportunity never arose due to the town-hall style of debate. I wanted to see b HUSSEIN to be called out on Ayers, Acorn, and Reverend Wright! I wanted to see b HUSSEIN called out and smacked down for accusing our troops of air raiding villages and killing civilians. And, most importantly – I wanted to hear about Obama's ties to Acorn!

Instead – I got to see "jabs" at b HUSSEIN which is okay. But, the American people deserve so much more. We deserve the truth before one of the worst tragedies our nation is faced with becomes a reality. While I struggled not to fall asleep, I did hear some important elements arise by John McCain:

McCain did take some punches, he just did not hit hard enough. McCain did bring up Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. It was an effective point, but McCain should have hit much harder! He should have brought up Franklin Raines former CEO of Fannie as being an adviser for the Obama campaign. Freddie and Fannie used huge lobbying budgets and political contributions to keep regulators off their backs. The Clinton administration's white house budget director Franklin Raines ran Fannie and collected 50 million dollars. Do a little thinking here, Obama's ads and stump speeches attack McCain, Bush and republican policies for the current financial turmoil. It is demonstrably not Republican policy and worse, it appears the man attacking McCain, Senator Obama, was at the head of the line when the piggy's lined up at the Fannie and Freddie trough for campaign bucks (which McCain did mention last night!) Senator Barack Obama, number two on the Fannie/Freddie list of favored politicians after just three short years in the senate.

If John McCain had gone on the offensive – right here he could have brought up Tony Rezko, William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright and many other names and questionable issues. It's these things the American people have a right to know about because they do play an important role in the decisions b HUSSEIN obama will make if he becomes President of the United States. This was a golden missed opportunity by McCain!

We know – yes we know – the biased media will say Obama won the debates. Yet – I'd like to point out again that on Obama's website – it gives detailed information on how to screw the real numbers concerning the different media polls. You can call via your cell phone repeatedly to jumble the numbers… and you can clean your computer's cookies and resubmit a win for a specific candidate over and over… It's cool. I do not pay too much attention any longer to the biased polls. The polls do not remove the fact that Obama's non-answers still ring loud and clear. As mentioned – Obama will not get called out on this issue by the biased media, however – I WILL!

There were some questions tonight that Obama failed to actually answer. The final question being the most obvious! Granted – McCain did not answer with a "yes" or "no" - instead opted for a "maybe". Yet – I can understand the "maybe" because we do not want to go back into a "cold war" era with Russia. I am curious as how the undecided voters will view this? Will they even notice that he refused to actually answer and if so – will they swing to McCain? This remains to be seen. Clearly – Obama was not on his full rhetorical game last night. He often seemed unsure on many of the answers. Maybe – this is why he didn't answer all the questions?

Due to the "town-hall" style of debate, I think the American people lost an opportunity to really hear what we needed to hear. Tom Brokaw was fair – yet, he had to repeatedly rein the debaters in and they were not allowed to become candid nor really engage the topics. For the next and last debate, we need to stick both McCain and Obama on a stage and just tell them to "GO FOR IT"! For once – do a real service to the American voters so we can clearly see the "differences" and the "real facts" surrounding each politician!

As it stands right now – the two debates between Obama and McCain will not decide this election. If the election depends on these two debates – the voter turn out will be small because there really is not a whole lot of difference between the two. I think the Palin / Biden debate will have a larger impact on who gets what vote! But, who knows, the last debate may turn the tide for one or the other… Depending… if the politicians actually open up and bring out facts that are important! I'm just afraid that after last nights debate – no one is going to be interested in next weeks debate between McCain and Obama. Is there way we can change the participants and put Palin and Biden as the debaters?

We are now down to the wire - exactly one month from today the all important vote will take place in our nation to decide who the leader of the free world for the next four years will be. McCain or Obama...

It is not only up to the McCain/Palin ticket to see that the word is spread… It is also up to each and every one of us - each individual citizens - who care about our nation. The decision is ours to make... and ours to lose...

From today on out… I'd like to ask each of you is our nation worth it? Do we consider putting COUNTRY FIRST important? If the answer is yes, then, please read the ideas and thoughts I have in helping us accomplish a victory for John McCain and Sarah Palin!

Become knowledgeable about how both McCain and Obama stand on the issues

This one can be a little difficult… McCain is pretty well gives straight forward information on his website… Plus – googling for the information is pretty easy… When doing this… Stick to the news organizations… Just remember – places like MSNBC, Huffington Post, New York Times, etc…. They are generally left wing liberal trendy… Thus – they do not always give the most reliable information… Study McCain's voting record and you will see his website holds up under scrutiny regarding how he has voted in the past.

Obama's website gives his actual positions on the issues in a way that hides a lot of the truth… The reason I say this is because his site states one thing – but his past voting record says the opposite…

Okay – these two go hand in hand… WE must put the O-Biden campaign on DEFENSE… To do this must go on the OFFENSE and help lead the topics being discussed on the news many of the REAL ISSUES facing our nation... Accountability… Morality and Ethics = CHARACTER… etc… There are too many questions surrounding Obama that have gone unanswered! WE - as in the people - must force these questions to once and finally be addressed. These are the issues that will turn the undecided vote to McCain!

Daily – each and every one of us needs to contact one (hopefully a lot more) media organizations – this includes TV stations… LOCAL AND NATIONAL… Newspaper organizations – LOCAL AND NATIONAL… Radio stations – LOCAL AND NATIONAL… And, start demanding they do their jobs! Ask questions… Demand answers… In an unbiased manner.

Questions such as:

• Does Obama being a member of Trinity United Church of Christ for 20 years have any bearings on his judgment due to the church's practice of the Black Value System?
  
• Does Obama hold any of the same beliefs that Rev. Jeremiah Wright have – since he held Rev. Wright as a spiritual mentor and was a practicing member of his church for 20 years?
  
• What are Obama's complete details regarding involvement in ACORN?
  
• What is Obama's real association with Bill Ayers?
  
• What is Obama's real association with Tony Rezko?
  
• Is Obama hiding his real birth certificate?
  
• etc... etc... etc... etc...
  

There are question after question we can ask daily without running out of topics to discuss. If we start this and get other people asking the same questions daily, we can force the media to do their work and report the truth!

Pass the truth along

To pass the truth along - as I mentioned we each must question the different media news agencies... But, we also must spread the word to get as many people involved in this project. It will not work if only one or two individuals are attempting this... Another method is the use of e-mail. If you run across a blog you think is good - copy it and paste it in an email and circulate the email to ALL YOUR FRIENDS... The more information we get flying - the more people we reach. The problem - as I see it is that Obama is controlling us via these same manners and "Truth Squads"... The problem is - his truth squads are working to prevent the truth from being told!

Get the word out - let's show him TRUTH WILL WIN EACH AND EVERY TIME!

Remember folks - Obama's plan on giving a tax cut to 95% of Americans [4] - Around 40% of those Americans do not pay taxes as it is [5]... So those middle class Americans Obama talks about... Plan on paying a whole lot more than you ever paid before.

Republicans and Democrats alike said appeals from credit-starved small businessmen and the Senate's addition of $110 billion in tax breaks had persuaded them to drop their opposition.

... Democratic leaders circulated data showing which states benefit most from an extension of a tax break for homeowners who do not itemize their tax returns. Texas, Florida, California and Pennsylvania ranked among the highest. The leaders hope the measure will bring support from black lawmakers, many of whom voted "no" earlier this week, among others.[4]

Got to say folks - wonder why Obama made personal telephone calls to the Black Congressmen (special thanks to Carol and Rachel for pointing this out) to get them to change their votes on the bail out? Promises... promises... of change... I don't think so... Seems to me this is just more of the same old same old corruption that got us to where we are today! THANKS FOR NOTHING OBAMA!
